Communicating Hatred was Intended!

Today Trump’s social media account shared a campaign video with a headline promoting a “𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗵.” A direct reference to German’s “𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗵.”

The word (Reich) was not accidental nor is it innocuous. It was intended to be racist. It was intended to be anti-Semitic. It was a promise of authoritarianism.

To fully understand the “Reich” reference, to fully comprehend how dangerous this statement was, you need to understand history.

Germany’s Third Reich directly led to World War I and World War II and the death of approximately 80 Million Human Beings!

𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗵:

The Third Reich, also known as Nazi Germany, was the totalitarian regime that ruled Germany from 1933 to 1945 under the leadership of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.

It was the self-proclaimed successor to the Holy Roman Empire (800-1806) and the German Empire (1871-1918), with Hitler envisioning it as a “𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗰𝗵” that would establish permanent German dominance and racial superiority in Europe.[1][3]

The Third Reich was characterized by extreme nationalism, anti-Semitism, and the pursuit of Lebensraum (“living space”) through military conquest, leading to the devastation of World War II and the Holocaust, the genocide of European Jews and other minority groups.[4]
